A/R;SEKYERE JAMASI ASSEMBLY WOMAN APPEALS FOR FURNITURE SUPPORT FOR BASIC SCHOOLS

                     The Assembly Member for the Jamasi East Electoral area Hon Maud Abankwa had appealed to the government and other educational philanthropists to as matter of urgency come to their aid so that they could resolved the classrooms furniture deficit.      She opined that, even though their MP Hon Mavis Nkansa Boadu the DCE Hon Catherine Wrecking are doing their best to remodel the classroom environment but the deficit is too huge to be curtailed with few desks.   According to her, the electoral area comprises of Salvation Army , Roman Catholic,and Presbyterian basic schools therefore more than 400 desks would be needed to furnish the schools.        The situation is unbearable to the extend that it delays instructional hours and especially  examination period hence her plea.      She stated this when she delivered 50 dual desk to the schools.                The Headmasters of the schools received the furniture with joy and appealed to the stakeholders of education in t

DON'T DETAIN SICK PEOPLE IN CHURCHES_ _CLERGYMEN TOLD

Rev Andrews Osei the Founder and Leader of  God of Elijah Ministry had appealed to his fellow clergymen not to detain sick people in their churches with the motive of providing them spiritual healing. ASHANTI DEVELOPMENT HAS CONSTRUCTED MBU FOR THE MAMPONG GOV'T HOSPITAL AT COST OF GHC9MILLION

 The Ashanti Development an NGO based in U.K  which was founded by a Ghanaian Rev Martha Boadu and Madam Penny David a British as a cofounded had brought sigh of relief to many residents in the Sekyere enclave with their social intervention policies.  Their benevolence seems to be infinite as they had constructed an ultra morden Mother's and Babies Care Unit at the cost of Ghc 9million for the maternal wing of the Asante Mampong Govt Hospital.  Speaking to the Media, Madam Penny David disclosed that, she once visited the Asante Mampong hospital and chance up on a malnourished baby and that indeed jerked her knees.  Her after thought brought fore the initiative of putting up a modern MBU for the hospital to help curb malnourisism among babies in the area.  Penny David said the center was established to help improve maternal and newborn health in Mampong and nearby districts   Ashanti Development plan is to make Mampong maternity hospital a center of excellence.       The Member of Parliament for the Nsuta Kwaman Beposo Constituency Hon Adelaide Ntim Agyeiwaa has stated that, the challenges that she needs to tackle at the Constituency is a wholesome but so far as the  NPP government is in power, she had envisaged of remedying  about 70% before the president's tenure  ends.    She explained that, she was voted for to tackle the challenges bedeviling the constituents therefore she doesn't feel weary in doing so.      She opined that, her constituents encompasses 57 communities  therefore meeting all their concerns at the same time its not possible unless through systematic approach.     "I have the list of all the communities and its associates challenges ,and would be working on them as time progresses and what I need from the people is their continuous cooperation and restraints .She added.         She stated this when she donated ghc8000.00 to the Bimah community for the renovation of JHS block and  filtration of their mechanised

  The Ashanti Development a locally based NGO in Ghana has over years put their sweat in line to complement the efforts of the government in terms of development.   Since their inception in Ghana, they had executed numerous projects across the length and breath of the country.
