    The Concern Citizens of Sekyere Kumawu led by Mr Isaac Atta Adjepong, a founding father of the NPP in the Sekyere Kumawu Constituency had stated emphatically that the delegates of the party  that re-elected Hon Philip Basoah the incumbent MP to be their parliamentary candidate in the upcoming general elections had really let the entire Kumawu constituents down.    He explained that,their siting MP is not epitome of development nor a  unifier and they believes with this embedded attitude within him its likely the party may lose a marginal votes.          According to him, thousands of constituents don't regard  him as  their Parliamentary Candidate which is another big challenge to the party .    They are therefore appealing to the party hierarchy to provide them headway else they would bring in an independent candidate.     He stated this during a press conference with hundreds of followers of the party at Dadease.

NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION PROGRAM UNDER MIN OF BUSINESS AND DEV'T TO TRAIN 26000 YOUTHS.

   The DCE for the Sekyere Central Hon Kwadwo Banahene Badiako has stated emphatically that the major priority of the District Assembly of which he presides over is to augment the successful implementation of the government flagship program dubbed    PLANTING FOR EXPORT AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT. According to him ,they have decided to raise one million cashew seedlings for farmers within the district on free count to enable them go extra mile with regard to cashew cultivation.He recounted that for the past three years they had raised more than fifty thousand cashew seedlings for farmers in the area . He added that if their vision sees the light of the day and with the able support of the farmers an industry would be establish to help build their local economy into a higher pedestal.    He brought fore this during interactions with OMONO TV news when he teamed up with the BEPOSO TRADITIONAL COUNCIL to distribute 150,000 thousand cashew seedlings to more than hundred farmers.
