OUR TOWNSHIP DRAINAGE SYSTEM IS IN BIZARRE STATE,IT BECOMES MORE SCARY DURING WET SEASON.-KONTIHENE.

  The Kontihene of Kwaman Traditional Council Nana Adu Agyei Bonsamfo I, has appealed to the government to intervene as quickly as possible to  rehabilitate their township drainage system which had become a death trap.    He continued that,the bizarre nature of the gutters posses fear on them especially during raining  season and they would want the government to intervene before the major raining season starts to help avoid any unforeseen bad occurrence.He bemoaned that the challenge had been in existence since time in memorial and none of the successive government had addressed it and it had accrued to the worst stage.   He brought fore this during interactions with Omono tv crew at a  Health Screening Exercise which was organized by Asiamah Fun Club at Kwaman a community in the Sekyere Central District for 1000s of residents . GNPC CUTS SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 5 PROJECTS IN THE SEKYERE CENTRAL.

                           The Ghana National Petroleum Cooperation-GNPC  a subsidiary government agency in its quest of complementing the government developmental agenda has cut sod concurrently for the construction of 5 projects in three different communities in the sekyere central district.   In divisive terms ,Kwamanman SHS would benefit from a morden science lab,whiles the Kwaman community would also have 12units sanitary facility.At Beposo the community would benefit from an ASTROTURF pitch and 12units toilet facility.     At the Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School  another ground breaking event also took place for the construction of a modern science lab.Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs Aisha Victoria the Headmistress of the school acknowledged the government for its relentless efforts towards the growth of education in the country and  appealed to all stakeholders of education and other cooperate organizations to run to the aid of the school so that they could addres

SIX FULANIS ARE IN THE CUSTODY OF ASHANTI MAMPONG POLICE COMMAND FOR KIDNAPPING .

Six Fulanis are in the custody of Ashanti Mampong Police Command on alleged kidnapping issue which took place at Abountem a community in the Ashanti Mampong Municipality.Narrating the incidence the Divisional Crime Officer Sup.James Nyadedjor explained on the 26th of Feb this year a complainant by name Abdulai Yaya Raman a fulani herdman at Drobonso came to lodged a comlaint that his younger brother who bears the name Abdulai Yaya 24yrs a fulani herdman who ply his trade at Abountem a community in the Ashanti Municipality had been attacked and kidnapped by some unknown assailants at the middle of the night.      The complainant continued that,he later on received a call from his brother that,the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of ghc80,000.00.before he would be allowed to have a full glare of his liberty.Upon continuous negotiation the assailants agreed to accept ghc6000.00 before they could released his brother.Aftermath his released the police mounted an intensive investigation
