NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION PROGRAM UNDER MIN OF BUSINESS AND DEV'T TO TRAIN 26000 YOUTHS.





   The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation program under Ministry of Business and Dev't to train 26000 youths in employable skills nationwide this year.

   Explaining this ,the Director of Operations at the National Headquarters of the  Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program Mr Kofi Ahin stated that the motive of the President is to offer requisite training to Ghanaian youths that had come out with their  innovations but lacks the  ideal to complement their business.He continued  that one of the means of enhancing growth in our local economy is to cushion the entrepreneurship  hubs with requisite ideas and financial support hence the the decision of the first gentleman of the land.

  Beside the training,financial support ranging from ghc5000-50,000.00 would be offered to the youths as a start up capital to streamline their various trade.


    In every district in Ghana 100 youths would be selected as beneficiaries to the government support
  He brought fore this during interactions with Omono tv in an entrepreneurship workshop for 400 youths in the Sekyere Kumawu District.
 

Hon Samuel Addai Agyekum the DCE for the Sekyere Kumawu at the event called on the youths to develop self esteem and confidence as they soldjier on with their aspirations.According to him the trained youths could be an epitome to the elevation of the district's economy therefore the inculcated skills and knowledge should not be disregarded.
