WE HAVE BEEN STRIVING FOR HEALTH FACILITY FOR THE PAST 40YRS_AKWAMUHENE BIPOA.

The Akwamuhene of Bipoa Traditional Council  Nana Agyei Gyasi has stated emphatically that, the major headache of the township is how to get a befitting health facility to serve as their primary health care unit for the community.

He explained further that, access to health care for the community has remained a major challenge and it had persisted for the past 40yrs.

He bemoaned that,a lady of the town had a snake bite and because of unavailability of health care the victim died. This and many other issues which had got party with health has become their daily challenge.

"The only headway is that the Salvation Army Church is putting up a health facility therefore the government and other individuals must come in to support ".He noted.

He disclosed this to Omono tv when the Bipoa Youths For Development donated 100  bags of cement to the Salvation Army Church in support of the project.

Mr Philip Mensah the Chairman for the Bipoa Youths For Development also unveiled what actually compelled them to throw their weight behind the project as that the  aforementioned community keeps increasing in population day in and out and it was quite on call for to see the natives of the town especially pregnant women commuting to Agona  to seek for medical care.

He opined that health care should be part of the communal basic need therefore the association could not hesitate to throw in their weight behind  the initiative of the SALVATION ARMY CHURCH in the community.
