THE FREE SHS POLICY IS A PROVIDENT MEASURE _BIPOAHENE

         

  The Chief of Bipoa in the Sekyere South District Nana Agyapa Ameyaw II has  applauded the government for its providential initiative with regards to the implementation of the policy dubbed "Free Senior High School".


  He noted that,the growth of every  country mostly depends on a formidable educational policies therefore to have such educational stipulated measure as a nation.is a sign of positive future development for the nation. 


   This he said would enlighten the youths to reason positively and distance themselves from issues which had got party with violence especially in this era of  general. elections.
   He stated this during interactions with Omono tv at the inaugural ceremony of YOUTH PARLIAMENT at Agona.

    Hon Catherine Reckling the DCE for the  Sekyere South District also called on the youths  parliamentarians to consider the honor bestowed on them as wealthy. 


   She opined that,it's an opportunity for them to initiate ideas,development of self control and tolerance irrespective of ones opinion as well as socialization in governance.



  She was with the enthusiasm that the youths would rise up to the occasion when the need be.

Mr Sarfo Hans Oliver the Sekyere South District Officer for the NationalYouth Authority also appealed to them to consider themselves as noble people in the society and therefore must behave accordingly to protect the reputation of the district. 


   He was of the zeal that,the members of the youths parliament would go extra mile in the performance of their duty to help elevate the status of the district.

ASHANTI DEVELOPMENT HAS CONSTRUCTED MBU FOR THE MAMPONG GOV'T HOSPITAL AT COST OF GHC9MILLION

 The Ashanti Development an NGO based in U.K  which was founded by a Ghanaian Rev Martha Boadu and Madam Penny David a British as a cofounded had brought sigh of relief to many residents in the Sekyere enclave with their social intervention policies.  Their benevolence seems to be infinite as they had constructed an ultra morden Mother's and Babies Care Unit at the cost of Ghc 9million for the maternal wing of the Asante Mampong Govt Hospital.  Speaking to the Media, Madam Penny David disclosed that, she once visited the Asante Mampong hospital and chance up on a malnourished baby and that indeed jerked her knees.  Her after thought brought fore the initiative of putting up a modern MBU for the hospital to help curb malnourisism among babies in the area.  Penny David said the center was established to help improve maternal and newborn health in Mampong and nearby districts   Ashanti Development plan is to make Mampong maternity hospital a center of excellence.
