THE TABLE COULD TURN ON OUR EDUCATION IN THE SEKYERE CENTRAL DISTRICT IF ALL HANDS ARE PUT ON DESK_KONTIHENE.

 
  Nana Adu Agyei Bosamfo the Kontihene of Sekyere Kwaman Traditional Council had called on the native of the town as well as the government to strive as much as they could to bring fore a befitting elevation of education standard in the Sekyere Central District of Ashanti region. 


   He explained that currently the Sekyere Kwaman Senior High School is on the ascendancy and they would wish to have a tertiary institutions in addition. 


  According to him,the traditional council had decided to offer free land to personalities and authorities that are willing to establish such kind of institution. 


   He stated this during the inauguration of mechanized bore hole and extension of electricity which was financed by Mr Stephen ASIAMAH a philanthropist at the cost of Ghc60,000.00 For the Kwaman Presbyterian SHS.

 

He indicated that the district is endowed with farming activities which includes livestock rearing,and with this inline it would be prudent if any tertiary institution with agricultural instincts is establish in the area.


   Mr Patrick Kwaning the Assistant Headmaster of the school eulogized Mr Asiamah for his overwhelming contribution towards the elevation of the school.


According to him,the benevolence nature of the man brought fore the construction of road network from Kwaman township to the school,construction of teachers accommodation block,provisions of PPEs to help fight down covid-19 and many others.

 

He finally appealed to the government,philanthropist and other cooperate organizations to come and assist them so that they could address their other challenges addressed.

ASHANTI DEVELOPMENT HAS CONSTRUCTED MBU FOR THE MAMPONG GOV'T HOSPITAL AT COST OF GHC9MILLION
