A 10YR OLD BOY HAS BEEN KILLED FOR MONEY RITUALS AT NSUTA.


    
 Nsuta Circuit court  presided over by Her Honour Wini_Amoateng Owusu had remanded a 46yr Old Farmer by name  Kwabena Oppong two weeks into prison custody for murdering his 10yr old Kwaku Thomas for money rituals. 


   Briefing the court, the police prosecutor .Chief Inspector Kolan stated that on the 29th of Dec 2020      some one came to lodge a complaint that a corpse had been found in a sack at a river bank at  agrosom a suburb of Nsuta a community in the Sekyere Central District of Ashanti region and they suspect that  it was Mr. Kwaku Oppong who had killed his son.


   Police then mounted a search for him and found him hiding on a ceiling of a uncompleted house at Nsuta. 


   During his interrogations, he admitted the offence,with   the explanations that he has  5 children but finds it difficult to cater for them and therefore decided to kill the boy for money rituals. 


       With this explanations by the suspect the Presiding judge considered his act as outrageous and remanded him two weeks into prison custody for further investigations. 


   The case has been adjourned to the 12th of January 2021.
