had appealed to the government to be considerate to the private
schools in its quest of creating enabling environment for the private sector to gain the requisite strength to flourish
He explained that, one of the continues pronouncement of the current government is the support to the private sector but the 2022 budgets is of no hope to the private schools hence his grieve.
He continued that, the COVID_19 pandemic jeopardise most businesses including private schools therefore they were expecting the government to equip them with financial support and other logistics as being meted out to public schools.
According to him, private schools undoubtedly is an avenue of
employment for most Ghanaian youths and cannot be ruled out in terms of
national societal growth therefore it would be more prudent if the necessary
supports are rendered to the private schools
He brought fore this during interactions with the media when the STERLING HEIGHT ACADEMY organized a fund raising and a dinner event.
Madam Asantewaa Tenkorang the Managing Director of the Sterling Height Academy in Asante Mampong also appealed to parents, guardians and other educational philanthropists to run to their aid so that they could complete their three sto rey building which would cater for the continuing pupils in the school.
According to her,the COVID_19 pandemic nearly ruin their success story but their prudent financially management brought them back to track
Irrespective of this they would still need the financial support to enable them achieve their priority so that they can contribute their quota towards the growth of education in the nation.
