**Asante Mampong Midwifery and Nursing Training College Gets Accreditation After 71 Years**

 In a historic milestone, the Asante Mampong Midwifery and Nursing Training College has finally received accreditation after 71 years of dedicated service to the community.

 The announcement was made by the Principal of the college, Mrs Helena Dwamena during a graduation ceremony held at the college premises.

The accreditation marks a significant achievement for the institution, which has been providing quality education and training to aspiring nurses and midwives since its establishment. 

The college has produced numerous healthcare professionals who have gone on to make substantial contributions to the health sector in Ghana and beyond.

In his address, the Principal expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported the college over the years.

 

"This accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and alumni.

 It is a proud moment for all of us, and we are committed to continuing our mission of providing excellent education and training to future healthcare professionals," he stated.

The accreditation process involved a thorough evaluation of the college's programs, facilities, and faculty by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. 

The council's approval signifies that the college meets the required standards for nursing and midwifery education and is now officially recognized as an accredited institution.

The news of the accreditation has been met with excitement and celebration by the college community and the residents of Mampong. 

Many see this achievement as a step forward in enhancing the quality of healthcare education in the region.

"We are thrilled to receive this accreditation. It will open up new opportunities for our students and help us attract more resources to improve our programs and facilities," she said .

 "We are grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey, and we look forward to a bright future for our college."
